Warp

In case you are not already aware Warp It is a resource redistribution network that enables us to give away or loan resources internally as well as externally with partner organisations.

Warp It is an eBay/ Freecycle style online marketplace that will make redistributing resources more convenient and easier to manage. If items are not required internally after a period they may be passed onto our partner hospitals, charities and schools automatically.

• Declutter staff home-offices or places of work.
• Helps towards zero waste and zero carbon.

So far, Shropshire Council staff have achieved savings on procurement and waste disposal spend of £163,769. avoided waste of 46 tonnes and acquired nearly 700 members on the scheme.

What kind of resource can be uploaded to Warp It?

A resource can be anything from reusable furniture, stationery items, electrical equipment, even pot plants! As long as it was purchased for work use, it can be exchanged on Warp It. This system is not to be used for items from home.

How can you register?

Visit Warp It portal and hit the big green register button. Staff may also login or sign up via the (Quick link RHS of the intranet).

You will then receive a confirmation email giving you further instructions on how to use the system.
